Jennifer Lopez is a bit of a serial monogamist—a modern-day Liz Taylor, if you will (though we doubt Liz could twerk like J.Lo can). However, after a long string of boyfriends (and husbands), J.Lo is finally ready for some "me time."

"My friends are constantly trying to set me up but I'm just not there right now," she told the Daily Mirror. "It's not something that's a priority. I have gone from relationship to relationship but, at the end of the day, I am not ashamed of the path I have taken or the lessons I have learned. I have a gut instinct and I follow that. When I don't it's when I usually go wrong with people and relationships. You make decisions for two reasons: out of fear or out of love, and when you make them out of fear they end in misery."

Jennifer, who divorced her third husband Marc Anthony in 2011, added, "I am who I am and I am human. I do what feels rights in the moment. And right now it feels good to just be on my own and have some 'I love Jennifer' time, which I haven't done a lot in my life."

That's right, Jennifer, you do you.

As for her next beau, it's non-negotiable that he be a good influence on her six-year-old twins, Emme and Max. "I still believe in love, of course, but the thing you think about most is who is good enough to come into the life of me and the kids?" Jennifer said. Clearly, despite fame, the confident star has her priorities straight.

"I am just open for the experience and for whatever comes along and I try not to limit myself. I do what feels right to me and that's it," she says. In the end, that's really all any of us can do."

And in response to her "Booty" video, which has gotten a whole lot of attention, Jennifer says, "I guess moms aren't supposed to be sexy. Heaven forbid that when we are in our 40s we express any type of sexuality."

Word. J.Lo, our love for you grows more every day.
