We have no problem celebrating bizarre food holidays—ahem, National Cheeseburger Day, Toasted Marshmallow Day, even Grape Popsicle Day—especially when they mean snagging a serious deal. Tuesday, Sept. 29, could be the best one yet: National Coffee Day.

Some of your favorite chains are doing it big this year (read: free coffee). Here's where to find the best discounts.

Dunkin' Donuts

All day long, every Dunkin' Donuts location across the country is offering a free (!!!) medium hot or iced Dark Roast coffee to their guests, with a limit of one free coffee per customer. While you're there, do yourself a favor and try one of their new pumpkin macchiatos, which are being released on Sept. 28.

Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co.

On National Coffee Day, guests will receive a free Cold Brewsta with the purchase of any menu item. The people at Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. believe coffee should be celebrated all the time, not just for one day (we agree), so they're offering 12-ounce hot coffees for $1 throughout the entire month of September. Drop by any of their locations Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. for this deal.

Zaro's Family Bakery

Zaro's is a fourth-generation family-owned bakery in New York City and it's offering a special promotion this year. With any purchase, customers can enjoy a free cup of iced or hot coffee—but there's a limit of one per person.

Sheetz

After just releasing a new line of coffee, Sheetz wants to give back to its customers even more. To thank their customers for their support, Sheetz is offering a free reusable coffee mug with a cup of coffee, while supplies last.

Krispy Kreme

Back in June, we celebrated National Donut Day, and it looks like Krispy Kreme wants to combine some of that celebration with National Coffee Day. They're offering a free small coffee and a free Original Glazed Donut. If you're craving a fancier brew, small iced coffees, lattes and mochas are only $1 all day, and you still get your free donut. It's the best of both worlds.

The Buzz Truck

Partnering with Connecticut State Senator Tony Hwang, The Buzz Truck is handing out free coffee to commuters at Fairfield, Connecticut's Fairfield Metro railroad station. Senator Hwang will be set up on the northbound side of the station from 6-8 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 28 ready to give Metro North passengers a cup of free coffee.

LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

LaMar's is offering its customers a free 12-ounce cup of coffee and a free LaMar's coffee mug while supplies last on Sept. 29. Use this coupon to take advantage of the deal.

Coffee Beanery

At participating Coffee Beanery locations in eleven states across the country, customers will only have to pay $1 for a fresh-brewed coffee of any size all day on National Coffee Day. As if that wasn't good enough, customers can also buy a pound of coffee for $2.

Starbucks

While the chain won't be offering any discounts on Tuesday, it will plant a tree for every bag of coffee sold in stores. The initiative officially launches on National Coffee Day, though any bags you buy over the next year will be matched with a tree, which will be distributed to coffee growers who have had their crops destroyed by a fungus known as coffee rust. (The trees Starbucks is sending are a new variety that can resist coffee rust.)
